Indian Railways
Under the National Rail Plan, Indian Railways plans to construct four more bullet train lines, connecting nine more cities to the high-speed rail network. A 618-kilometer corridor between Hyderabad and Bangalore, an 855-kilometer route between Nagpur and Varanasi, an 850-kilometer route between Patna and Guwahati, and a 190-kilometer corridor connecting Amritsar, Pathankot, and Jammu are among the corridors planned. The new corridors will be proposed in addition to the eight that the railway ministry has already been working on under the NRP.
