Reliance Industries Limited
In the state of Gujarat, Reliance Industries Limited has agreed to invest Rs 5.95 lakh crore in green energy and other projects. The corporation plans to invest Rs 5 lakh crore in a 100 GW renewable energy power plant over the next 10 to 15 years and has already begun scouting land for the project. The remaining funds will be split between setting up solar modules and fuel cells and investing in existing projects and new businesses over the next three to five years, totaling Rs 60,000 crore. Reliance will also invest Rs 3000 crore in its retail sector and spend Rs 7,500 crore upgrading its Jio cellular network.
