The technical bidding for the civil contract for metro construction at Gandhi Nagar Depot for the Ring Line of the Indore Metro Rail Project has been opened by the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL). A total of sixteen firms have filed offers for the tender launched in September 2021, according to MPMRCL. For the Indore Metro Rail Project, the work comprises the building of the Rolling Stock Depot and Workshop at Gandhi Nagar. The project has a three-year completion deadline and a total budget of about 283.65 crore. The depot will serve trains for 33.53 kilometers along the yellow line, which will form a ring around Indore.
