Vidarbha Hospitals Association Pranvayu Cluster, a group of 30 private hospitals, plans to set up common cryogenic oxygen plant at Butibori MIDC, Nagpur. The Maharashtra Government has handed over a 12,000 sq ft plot in Butibori in this regard. The plant will come up in a JV with Ministry of Small Medium Entreprises (MSME), at a cost of Rs 25 crore. MSME is bearing 80% of the project cost, while Pranvayu Cluster shall contribute 20% as a private company. The cluster is expecting a plant capacity to generate around 20 metric tonnes in cryogenic form. The plant is being set up to meet the need of the member hospital of the association and reduce stress on the companies supplying the same.
