The Government of India envisages to develop 35 Multi-Modal Logistic Park (MMLP) across the country, of which work on preparing detailed project report (DPR) and feasibility report is underway. The aim is to improve the logistics sector by lowering overall freight costs, reduce vehicular pollution and congestion, and cut down warehousing costs.
