The department is implementing 5 Rural Piped Water Supply Projects in Sundargarh district under Odisha Mineral Bearing Area Development Corporation (OMBADC) funding. The completion is targeted in 24 months. Voltas Ltd is selected as the contractor for the execution of three piped water projects in Gurundia, Koira and Lahunipada blocks at a cost of Rs.320.11 crore. Two projects in Kuanarmunda and Nuagaon blocks were also awarded to Voltas at a cost of Rs 340.39 crore.
