MMRC has recently released its plans for the multi-storey buildings at Girgaum-Kalbadevi. The three towers named Kalbadevi Heights, Kalbadevi Commercial Centre and Girgaon Heights are planned to rehabilitate 734 tenants from the 30 old buildings that were demolished for the Metro-3 (Colaba-Bandra-Seepz). The project will be completed in phases and and ready for occupancy from 2022. The rehabilitation project would also help in widening of the congested JSS Road. As of now, prequalification of contracts is invited towards the construction of high-rises.
