The Goa government is set to issue a new tender for the long-delayed solid waste management plant at Bainguinim. This marks the fifth attempt to move the project forward, which has faced multiple challenges. The updated tender will include revised terms to attract more bidders and incorporate advanced technology. Initially floated by the Goa Waste Management Corporation (GWMC) in 2019, the project aims to establish a 250-tonne-per-day (TPD) solid waste treatment facility at Bainguinim.
