The Chennai Airport’s new Integrated Terminal Building (T-2) is nearing completion. The upcoming terminal is nearing completion of testing and trials and is anticipated to open shortly. It will have a contemporary design combined with fresh concepts and technologies for an improved commuter experience. A cost estimate of Rs. 2,467 crore is being used to develop the new terminal building. The upgraded infrastructure on the airside and city side, as well as the multi-level parking structure, are all included in the new integrated terminal project.
