In Bengaluru, the global oil giant Shell unveiled its first electric vehicle (EV) chargers for India’s two- and four-wheeled vehicle markets. The company intends to install charging stations throughout its fuel stations in Bengaluru’s Yeshwantpur, Marathalli, Old Madras Road, Brookefield, and Kanakpura neighbourhoods as part of the first phase. By 2030, the company hopes to have more than 10,000 chargers installed at Shell Recharge Stations all over India. Shell Recharge chargers will only use green energy.
