Gorakhpur Link Expressway project is coming up in the state of Uttar Pradesh covering 90-km length. The expressway will connect Gorakhpur and Purvanchal Expressway.
The expressway is to be linked with Varanasi through a separate link road. Around 2650 acres of land is required for the expressway project. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 5,876 crore. As per UPEIDA, the project starting point is Jaitpur (District-Gorakhpur) bye pass while it ends at Salarpur (District Azamgarh) at Purvanchal expressway. The districts falling on expressway include Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Ambedkarnagar, and Sant Kabir Nagar. The project has been divided into 2 packages for implementation. Dilip Buildcon has executed EPC agreement UPEIDA for development of Gorakhpur Link Expressway Project (Package II) from Fulwariya (Dist. Ambedkar Nagar) to Salarpur (Dist. Azamgarh) in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
