During the third phase of the lockdown, projects worth Rs. 20,000 crore mainly from the water and sewer segment have restarted. Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) programme aims to provide water and sewer connection to every household in 500 cities, apart from this the other objectives include developing green spaces and reducing pollution by encouraging public transport. The state of Maharashtra could restart 63 projects worth Rs. 6,783 crore in districts of Amravati, Akola, Ahmednagar, Dhule, and Beed. Madhya Pradesh could start 49 projects worth Rs. 4,338 crore. While the state of Kerala could restart 52 projects worth Rs 276 crore.
